Roads, water and rural development for Imo State, as elected governor from January 1992 on the NRC platform.
Assessment
The term was cut short by the November 1993 dissolution. Enwerem became the first Senate President of the Fourth Republic in June 1999 but was removed by the Senate that November; he died in 2007.
