1 What your support funds

• Verifying promises against primary sources: budgets, gazettes, court records, government statements.
• Publishing corrections when we get something wrong.
• Keeping the dataset free to read, download and reuse under CC BY.

2 Where the money doesn’t come from

NGScorecard does not accept funding from political parties, candidates, office holders, or the government agencies it tracks.

• Funders have no say in ratings, sourcing, or which promises are tracked.
• An editor with a personal or financial connection to a donor recuses themselves from that donor’s related entries.

3 Transparency

We'll publish an annual summary of income by source, and any single donation above ₦500,000. Individual donor names aren't published without permission.
