The Managing Director of People's Daily Newspaper declared that Governor Idris had fulfilled about 90% of his campaign promises within three years. Promised to boost IGR to reduce dependence on federal allocations.

The state launched digital reforms including a unified electronic tax system and the Kebbi Geographic Information Service (KEBGIS) targeting N1 billion in IGR for 2025.
