Governor Namadi suspended a ₦1.3 billion renovation and remodelling contract for Gumel General Hospital after conducting an unscheduled night inspection, citing use of low-quality materials and non-compliance with project specifications. The contract was awarded to Yasmeen Automobile Nigeria Limited in December 2025 with an eight-month completion timeline.
