The promise
As the first elected governor of Enugu State — created on 27 August 1991 out of the old Anambra State — to establish its administration and services on the SDP platform. Nwodo is a medical doctor.
Assessment
The term was cut short after about 22 months by the November 1993 dissolution. He later served as National Secretary and then National Chairman (2010) of the PDP.
