Allegation
Reporting alleged Yuguda's administration obtained roughly ₦14 billion in fraudulent loans from a Bauchi bank branch, diverted ₦2.5 billion meant for refurbishing the College of Islamic Studies and ₦1.1 billion for Sa'ad Zungur Primary School, and stashed a further ₦600 million in a private account, for a combined figure reported as roughly ₦18.1 billion.
Outcome / Status
The successor Bauchi State government later petitioned the EFCC, whose operatives visited Yuguda's private Bauchi residence as part of the investigation; no independently confirmed charge or conviction had resulted as of the most recent reporting.
